Pregnancy is a beautiful time in any woman’s life, but it can also be really difficult physically, so here are five great yoga routines from YouTube for you to try if you are looking for a workout that will make you feel better, calmer, alleviate back pain, and help you prepare for delivery.
1. 30 Minute Yoga Practice:
This is a nice long practice you can do when you have the energy, as it is both relaxing but also a little challenging. This 30 minute sequence is great for opening up your body and relaxing your mind with pregnancy safe moves.
2. Before Bed Stretch Routine:
This YouTube prenatal yoga routine is great to do before bed as it really relaxes your back and lower body, deeping into different stretches slowly. It also comes with a cute little dog that likes to stretch with his mom, how adorable.
3. Strength Building Prenatal Yoga:
This prenatal yoga routine from Tonic is aimed at helping to build strength and stability into the glutes, legs, and pelvic floor. It’s aimed particularly at those in the second and third trimester, but anyone can do it. It’s a longer 30 minute routine, so if you get tired feel free to take a water break and start back up again.
4. Shorter Strength Building Yoga:
If you want to build strength but don’t have the energy or time for the above 30 minute routine, this is a nice 10 minute routine that targets some of those same areas.
5. Birth Preparation Yoga:
This short 10 minute standing yoga routine, also from Tonic, will help you prepare for labor and even help you calm down during labor.
