Coffee grinds make the perfect all over body exfoliant. They help boost your antioxidants, sloth off dead skin cells, create a radiant glow, and minimize the appearance of cellulite and other skin imperfections. While some coffee scrubs retail for over $40 online, it’s honestly the easiest thing to make on your own.
To create a DIY coffee body scrub, you only need coffee grounds and coconut oil.
Grab a cute mason jar to store the product and start spooning in the ingredients, mixing the oil and grounds slowly until you get a thick consistency. I find that I enjoy equal parts of each ingredient. If you’d like to change the smell, adding in grapeseed or almond oil brings a delightful aroma while adding extra moisturizing benefits.
This is, however, a messy scrub, so make sure you only use it right before a shower and apply it while standing in the tub. We recommend you use it once every week or so to continue the benefits. It makes a fun spa night treat.
